Learn to ride
Gloucester Ski & Snowboard Centre is the best place to learn to ride! Heading up our snowboarding team is ex British team member Vickie Pullin. Vickie holds one of the highest snowboarding qualifications available worldwide (Canadian Level 3) and is the youngest British female to achieve this. So come shred with our ex-pro!
At Gloucester Ski & Snowboard Centre, we use a dedicated teaching area, which is ideal for beginners. Our requirements to learn to snowboard are minimum age 10, or minimum boot size 3. Choose from:
- Group lesson: From £23 (max 6 per lesson). Learn to snowboard with our team! Lessons structured around our snowboard proficiency card.

Private lesson: From £50 (£15 for extra participant). Hire your own instructor for a private lesson for individuals or small groups. - Snowboard party: from £99 for up to 6 children. For more information call our reception team on 01452 874842.
- Snowboard camp: 3-day course - 2.5 hours per day, from £61.
- Freestyle private coaching sessions available from £50.
- Intermediate and advanced privates available upon request.
All lessons must be booked in advance.
Confident rider?
- Recreational practice from £6 per hour
- Friday Freestyle sessions in the Fun park
Please note minimum standards apply if you want to snowboard on your own or join our Friday freestyle session.
Please make sure you book well in advance. Whilst we endeavour not to alter your booking once made, we reserve the right to rearrange or cancel sessions.
