How far in advance should I book?

As early as you can. In the winter we get very busy at Gloucester Ski & Snowboard Centre. You may have to book several weeks in advance. Private lessons sell like hotcakes! Why not learn before Christmas and beat the rush!

What ages can children start snowboarding from?

Snowboarding lessons start from ages 10+.

What should I wear?

Participants are required to wear long-sleeved clothing to cover their skin and gloves. Long socks are also preferable. 

Knee pads or padded shorts can also be advisable whilst learning.

What if it's raining?

All lessons and recreational sessions will continue to go ahead in the rain. The rain adds additional lubricant to the slope. Last minute cancellations due to rain will not be eligible for rebooking or refunds.

What equipment is provided?

We provide snowboards, boots and helmets. We do not provide any salopettes or clothing. Gloves can be purchased for £3 on the day.

What is the cancellation policy?

Lessons and sessions that are cancelled with more than 48 hours notice will receive a full refund or rebooking. 

Lessons and sessions with less than 48 hours notice are not eligible for a refund.
