TUBING FAQs

What ages can children start tubing from?

Tubing is available from ages 4+.

How far in advance should I book?

As early as you can. In the winter we get very busy at Gloucester Ski & Snowboard Centre. You may have to book several weeks in advance.

What should I wear?

Participants are required to wear long-sleeved clothing to cover their skin, gloves and sensible footwear.  Gloves can be Purchased at reception for £3 a pair if needed.

What if it's raining?

All Tubing sessions will continue to go ahead in the rain. The rain adds additional lubricant to the slope. Last minute cancellations due to rain will not be eligible for rebooking or refunds.

What equipment is provided?

We provide the tubes needed for the session. Gloves are not provided but can be purchased at reception for £3 if needed.

What is the cancellation policy?

Sessions that are cancelled with more than 48 hours notice will receive a full refund or rebooking.

Lessons and sessions with less than 48 hours notice are not eligible for a refund.

Are the Ski Lifts used for tubing?

Unfortunately our ski lifts are only for skiing! That means you do have to walk up to the top of our dedicated tubing slope before heading down on the tubes.

Do you run sessions for more than 30 minutes?

Generally we do not recommend sessions of more than 30 minutes for groups of less than 15 participants. We can accommodate sessions for 45 minute and 1 hour for a higher price if required, please speak to our receptionists to enquire about this.
